We're opening a pop up stand Fri - Sun all summer at Beach 95th street in Rockaway selling classic Korean Shaved Ice (Bingsoo). We're looking for someone to help us across the board, $20/hr + tips.
We start July 4th weekend and will go through early October.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare Korean shaved ice (Bingsoo) bowls according to recipes and presentation standards.
- Portion and replenish toppings, fruits, syrups, and other ingredients
- Assist with food preparation before service
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe workspace
- Serve customers with a friendly and positive attitude
- Assist with opening, setup, breakdown, and closing procedures
- Restock supplies and keep the stand running smoothly during busy periods

Requirements

- Valid NYC Food Handler Certificate
- Available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays throughout the season
- Ability to work outdoors in summer and early fall weather
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced customer service environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous experience in food service, cafés, dessert shops, food trucks, concessions, or similar hospitality roles
- Experience with cash handling or point-of-sale systems
- Interest in Korean food and desserts
