I'm Grace! I'm a new Park Slope/Gowanus resident of Brooklyn. I just moved to NYC this winter to pursue acting, singing, and teaching voice.
My journey as an instrumentalist began with classical piano, eventually expanding to lessons in guitar, drums, and bass. A proud product of Wisconsin’s arts education - including First Stage Children’s Theater and KIDS From Wisconsin - I went on to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Theatre and Music from Northwestern University, specializing in Music Theory and Musical Theatre.
Before moving to NYC in 2026, I spent eight years in the Chicago theater scene, where I carved out a distinct niche as a multi-instrumentalist actor. Notable actor-musician credits include The Penelopiad (Goodman Theatre), Hundred Days (Kokandy Productions), and Across the Sand (Northbrook Theater). These productions also offered me my first opportunities to serve as Music Captain, create supplemental compositions, and have a hand in sound landscaping.
Most recently, I took on a gargantuan actor/musician challenge: starring as Cathy Hiatt in a self-accompanied production of The Last Five Years at Milwaukee Repertory Theater. Alternating between piano and acoustic guitar while navigating Jason Robert Brown’s score, the production demanded a seamless blend of nuanced acting, vocal stamina, and onstage conducting. I genuinely credit this professional opportunity as the greatest challenge and proudest success of my career thus far.
I so look forward to creating an artistic community and refining both my acting and musicianship skills in this city overflowing with artistic opportunity. I am proud to be a member of the actor-musician community and can’t wait to celebrate it with you.
I've studied the voice for 20+ years and have my degree in theater & music. I've been a professional musical theater actor and musician for 8 years.
