#CrownHouseBK is a thoughtfully curated two-bedroom home in the heart of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, featured in Domino and Homeworthy for its design, warmth, and intentionality.
This is a space that has been called a refuge, awash in personality, vibrant artwork, and markers of travel and family. Every corner has been considered.
What you'll find: moody Fox Hollow Brown walls, biophilic touches, hand-selected rugs from Jaipur Living, original artwork, and the kind of quiet that's rare in New York City, even though the Brooklyn is fully alive in July.
The private room available for this stay is a beautifully appointed guest room, featuring a Parachute linens, and a serene, welcoming energy with in-room A/C. You'll have full access to all common areas: the living room, eat-in kitchen, and bathroom. For work needs, the office is also available to you. Note, the primary bedroom is private and not included. No parties or additional guests.
Crown Heights in July is magnetic. Prospect Park is minutes away by foot with the Brooklyn Museum and the Central Library a few subway stops away. The neighborhood pulses with Caribbean culture, incredible food, and community.
The space:
- 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment
- Private guest room (primary bedroom is off limits)
- Full access to living room, eat-in kitchen, bathroom, office
- Fully furnished
- Near 2/3/4/5/Q trains
- Featured in Domino and Homeworthy
What I'm looking for: I'll be traveling for my birthday and to spend time with family. I'm seeking a respectful, community-minded individual who will treat this space with the same care it was built with. This is my sanctuary. Please share a brief intro about yourself, what brings you to Brooklyn, and one reference with direct contact.
I'm Shanika, a strategist, curator, and proud Crown Heights resident. I moved to this neighborhood intentionally, drawn to its proximity to the park and community energy.
As a tenant, I was candid with my landlord about thee thoughtful touches and design aspect in which I wanted to invest to make this house feel like home for me. In turn, I gave myself six months to transform this apartment into a true sanctuary, working with an interior designer, sourcing original artwork, and filling every corner with things that mean something. The result was featured in Domino and Homeworthy, and the feedback is always the same: it feels like somewhere, not just somewhere to stay. I take hospitality seriously, and I want guests to feel genuinely welcomed and cared for.
This is my home. I share it thoughtfully and selectively, and I'm looking for someone who will treat it with the same intention.
