ABOUT YOU
We're hoping to find someone who will enjoy and care for the space as much as we do. If you're interested, please tell us a little about yourself, your lifestyle, your dates, and what draws you to the apartment.
ABOUT ME
I’m a psychotherapist, artist, and long-time New Yorker. I’ve lived in this building for four years and adore it. I spend the majority of winter/spring in Arizona with my partner, Mac, who will handle the initial video chats and showings. We care a lot about finding the right fit — someone who will love the space as much as we do.
RENTAL DETAILS
We're hoping to create a simple, mutually trusting arrangement and are looking for someone who will enjoy and care for the apartment as if it were their own home.
To move forward, we ask interested applicants to provide:
• A brief introduction about yourself and your plans for your stay in New York
• Employment verification, pay stub, professional website, or LinkedIn profile
• One landlord, personal, or professional reference
Financial Terms:
• Security Deposit: $1,500 (fully refundable within 14 days of move-out, less any damages beyond normal wear and tear)
• Rent: $4,950 all-inclusive for the full 35-day stay, including utilities and Wi-Fi
• For partial stays, rent will be calculated at $165/night
• Because we will be traveling during the sublet period, rent must be paid prior to move-in
We also ask that our guest:
• Treat the apartment, furnishings, and belongings with care and respect
• Collect and set aside our mail while we're away
• Be a warm and friendly presence in the building—we genuinely love our neighbors and the sense of community here, and hope you will too
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who values a peaceful home environment and appreciates the unique beauty of this neighborhood.
If this sounds like a good fit, we'd love to schedule a brief video call to meet, answer questions, and show you the space.
Cats are absolutely welcome. Quiet dogs are sometimes allowed — please inquire.
