About this Lister

We’re John and Chrissi, a married couple who’ve been caring for animals professionally since 2018. What started as a passion turned into a full-time practice — and we’ve brought that same commitment to every home and pet we’ve worked with since.
We are deeply dedicated to both dogs and cats, and always open to learn about other animals, although we only have experience with chickens and goats thus far.

Background and Expertise

Our journey in pet care began with a three-month volunteer stint at a dog sanctuary in Malaysia, where we cared for over 70 dogs across every size, breed, and temperament. Back home we used that experience to start a full-time pet care business, with hundreds of animals cared for across New York City, Hudson Valley, and Southern California over the past 8 years. Now we mainly focus on house sits and extended stays which allows us to build relationships, focus on more personalized care, and offer a higher level of customer service.
