Hi friends! We have one room opening up in our 3bd 2ba Crown Heights apartment for $1175 (+utilities and first month’s security deposit). Minimum 3 months sublease, with the option to stay longer term. It’s a bright room that can fit a queen bed and a desk, and you’ll be sharing a bathroom with one person. Our second room might also open up at some point this year, so bonus points if you'd eventually be interested in taking over both. Must love cats:)

LOOKING FOR: Covid conscious, someone with a daily cleaning practice, with an emphasis on leaving the kitchen clean for the next person. We leave our messes in our rooms and try to keep common areas as clean as possible. We like to keep the apartment as an oasis. We don’t usually bring the party home, but will occasionally have chill movie nights or have people over for dinner. Also, looking for someone who respects that, no matter how cool their partner may be if they have one, this home isn’t a good fit if they’re looking to have their partner or guests around frequently. Someone with a hybrid or in-person work schedule would be a great fit.

About This Lister

Serena is a 31yo queer South Asian video editor. She rescues cats, so you must be okay with a rotating door of cats staying in the apartment (usually no more than two at a time). She currently has two foster cats - one who lives in her room and one who has access to the full apt but spends most of his time in the room. She loves Vanderpump Rules, film, and going for long walks with an iced beverage.

Zoe is a 24yo student and bookseller. She loves pop culture, Bravo and Love Island, and spends most of her time outside of the apartment. You'd be sharing a bathroom with Zoe.

It would be great to have another queer person and/or BIPOC person in the apartment, but flexible! We both love to dish about reality tv when we're in the space together, so another discourse partner would be more than welcome! Looking to rent to one person only.
